The Court Square Library located at 25-01 Jackson Avenue will now be open on Saturdays, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The library is currently only open from Monday through Friday.
An official announcement by Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer will be made tomorrow at the library at 1 p.m., the source said. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement has not been formally made.
In late 2015, the library opened a 1,700 square foot expansion space dedicated to children.1
