Back in April, Rockrose told The Court Square Blog that an Italian eatery focused on pizza, named Levante, was heading to 26-21 Jackson Avenue.1 On Tuesday, we noticed that construction had started on the store front to the retail space, with a plywood fence installed, pursuant to a Department of Buildings permit filed in June.2
Other permits for the space include installation of a new sprinkler system, a new mechanical and exhaust system on the first floor, and structural steel framing for the building.
