We were walking by 26-15 Jackson Avenue last week when we saw that a construction fence was coming up on the retail space. A Department of Buildings permit filed in October is requesting a change of zoning on the building.1 There’s also a second permit that was filed in September calling for “REMOVAL OF INTERIOR PARTITIONS, MEZZANINE LEVEL, STAIRS, FLOORING AND DOORS. FILING FOR THE REMOVAL OF PLUMBING FIXTURES AND RELATED PIPING.”2
