We were walking by 22-12 Jackson Avenue last week when we saw that a former taxi company, Checker Management Corporation, had shut its doors. Signage on site shows that the business has moved to 11-05 38th Avenue.
In the meantime, construction will likely begin soon on a mixed-used build that will rise 11 stories and feature 164,830 square feet of residential space and 5,018 of commercial space for a FAR of 4.98.1 Those permits were approved by the Department of Buildings on September 16, 2016, and first spotted by New York YIMBY.2
