A lottery for affordable housing has opened for Hayden located at 43-25 Hunter Street.1 The building will have 974 apartments and 195 of them will be affordable units for those making 60% of AMI or less.
Applications for the lottery to award the affordable units are being accepted now through Nov. 30. Also, local residents of Community Board 2 get preference for 50 percent of the affordable units, giving local residents better odds of getting an affordable unit.
