In October, we stopped by 22-12 Jackson Avenue and found that Checker Management Corporation had shut its doors.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that a construction fence is up on site, as seen in the photo below.
Construction will likely begin soon on a mixed-used build that will rise 11 stories and feature 164,830 square feet of residential space and 5,018 of commercial space for a FAR of 4.98.2 Those permits were approved by the Department of Buildings on September 16, 2016, and first spotted by New York YIMBY.3
