The last time we checked in at 27-17 42nd Road (a/k/a 28-02 42nd Road) was in October when we noted that the building had risen 10 stories.1 The building is now in full growth-spurt phase, with the building doubling in size, as seen in the photo below.
The former site of the proposed “Star Tower” back in 2008 had been vacant for many years before the lot sold for a princely sum in 2014.2 A new round of permits were approved on the site in December, 2014.3
