Last week, we spotted new permits filed with the Department of Buildings filed at 24-20 Jackson Avenue,1 the former home of Sage General Store calling for interior renovation of an existing eating and drinking establishment.2
Details are now emerging about what the new restaurant will be courtesy of Maegan Kovatch, General Manager of SquareWine & Spirits, which remains the occupant next door.
“[It will be a] fast casual neighborhood eatery, great coffee selection, sandwiches, burgers, salads, healthy grain bowls, breakfast sandwiches,” Kovatch said in an email to The Court Square Blog. “Perfect for this neighborhood.”
The restaurant does not have a name yet, Kovatch added.
