In December, we stopped by 22-12 Jackson Avenue and saw that construction crews had installed a fence on site.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that a one-story structure on the former taxi site had been demolished pursuant to a DOB permit that was approved on Jan. 18.2
Construction will likely begin soon on a mixed-used build that will rise 11 stories and feature 164,830 square feet of residential space and 5,018 of commercial space for a FAR of 4.98.3 Those permits were approved by the Department of Buildings on September 16, 2016, and first spotted by New York YIMBY.4

Demolition is complete at 22-12 Jackson Avenue
