The last time we stopped by 42-83 Hunter Street in December, construction was roughly halfway done on the building.1 When we stopped in last week, we saw the building is nearly topped out and scaffolding is up, as seen in the photo below.
Permits approved by the Department of Buildings on March 12, 2015 call for an 8-story, 15 unit purely residential build with a FAR of 4.93.2 That works out to 12,336 square feet of residential space. New York YIMBY first spotted the permits back in December 2014, which were filed right before the new building code took effect.3
