Signage appears for ‘The Forge’ at 27-27 44th Drive

We last stopped by at 27-27 44th Drive a/k/a 44-26 Purves Street in December when façade work was just wrapping up.¹ That part of construction has now finished, and on-site signage has appeared on site featuring its website, RentTheForge.com. According to the website, delivery is expected in summer, 2017.

Developed by Brause Realty and Gotham Organization, The Forge is a distinctive 38-story tower featuring 272 studio, one- and two-bedroom homes. Thoughtfully-conceived by the design firm FXFOWLE Architects, the new rental development located at 44-28 Purves Street features an impressive double-height lobby, accented by the image of a street art mural salvaged from the original building site. The lobby and outdoor courtyard will also feature works by local artists. Approximately 26,000 square feet of amenity space is planned, including an outdoor pool.
