The last time we checked in at 42-22 27th Street a/k/a 42-20 27th Street, former site of the Korea Times, was in February, when construction had just started reaching over the fence.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that construction has risen approximately four floors, as seen in the photo below.
Permits, first spotted by The Real Deal,2 were filed calling for 114,801 square feet of residential space and 20,304 square feet of commercial space with a total FAR of 5.54 which were approved in March.3 There will be 15 stories with 99 units. Permits were approved on June 4, 2015. Simon Dushinsky’s Rabsky Group is in charge of the project.

There was a story in the Real Deal that the size of this project had doubled to 195 units. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
