The last time we checked in on 46-20 11th Street in August, a rendering had appeared on site and excavation was just starting.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that foundation work as finished, and rebar is beginning to rise from the ground, as seen in the photo below. A spring 2019 delivery is expected on the project. Our friends at NY YIMBY were the first to spot permits back in 2015:2
“11th Street Condominiums LLC” has filed applications for a seven-story, 42-unit residential building spanning the lots of 46-14 – 46-20 11th Street, in Long Island City. The project will total 40,035 square feet of residential space, and if the LLC’s name hints anything, condominiums will average roughly 950 square feet. Raymond Chan is designing, and an existing two-story warehouse must first be removed.
