Stop work order lifted at 42-59 Crescent Street

We last stopped by 42-59 Crescent Street, future home of of a hotel, back in January when a stop work order had been issued on site.1 That stop work order was lifted on Jan. 10, 2018 and work is ready to get going again.2 Permits filed with the Department of Buildings for a nine-story, 83 unit building with 22,080 square feet of commercial space at an FAR of 5.00.

April 30, 2019 is the anticipated delivery time of the project. Here’s more information courtesy of New York YIMBY, which was the first to spot the permit back in December:3

It will feature a slew of amenities, including laundry facilities, a business center with meeting rooms, a lounge, a bar/restaurant in the cellar, a café, and outdoor terraces on the ground and rooftop levels. Gwo-Shenq Wey’s Forest Hills-based architecture firm is the architect of record.
