In April, we stopped by at 11-12 44th Drive and observed that work had reached the second floor.1 When we stopped by last week, we saw that construction has reached the fourth floor, and that signage has appeared on site, as seen in the photo below. Visit QNS44.com for more information on the project, which has residences up to 3 bedrooms. Other amenities include a rooftop lounge, heated salt water floor and parking/storage space.
Plans for the building were approved for an 8-story mixed used building on June 19.23 Here’s more information about the building from its website:
QNS44’s concrete matrix of varisized bronze windows casts a smart façade and dramatic expression of the bustling, multicultural, waterfront enclave of Long Island City. RYBAK Development and BK Developers have partnered to bring the highest definition of comfort and luxury into L.I.C., endowing the building’s modernist design with the amenities, appointments, and finishes of elite city living.
