Join Book Culture LIC on Saturday, December 1st at 11:30am for a special story time with Cara Zelas, author of the Big World of Little Dude series, as she reads from her latest book, Brain Vacation and Guide to Meditation. Joining Cara is her inspiration for the series: the real life Little Dude!
About the book:
Bird has so many different feelings that he is in an emotional tornado! In Brain Vacation and Guide to Meditation, Little Dude leads Bird on a journey to discovering an important gift that we can all use: meditation. The book is set to music and can be read or sung!
Cara Zelas is an educator and author of the Big World of Little Dude book series which teaches children social and emotional skills. Including The Friendship Book and How-To Guide to making friends.
Little Dude is a therapy dog and is the inspiration behind the book series and curriculum, which Cara teaches in schools and libraries in New York City.
