We last checked in at 42-44 Crescent Street in February, 2018, when the project had just completed its foundation.1 We stopped by last week and saw that not much progress has been made, and even less so that a stop-work order has been issued, as seen in the photo below. The stoppage, issued in early February, cites “FAILURE TO SAFE GUARD ALL PERSONS & PROPERTIES” as the reasons for shutting the project down.2
Permits, approved on Nov. 17, 2017, call for 12,495 square feet of construction space, with 2,060 for a ground floor commercial space at 10,435 of residential space.3 New York YIMBY was the first to spot the build permit back in July 2014.4
