‘Ice & Vice’ is making another return to Long Island City, opening a pop up for the second time at 27-20 Jackson Avenue.
The eatery will have its soft opening on Monday followed by a grand opening on Friday.
Ice & Vice was at the same spot in 2018 for a summer run before it was replaced by Brooklyn based ‘Daly Pie’ later in the year.1 Daly Pie closed recently, and signage for Ice & Vice went up last week, as seen in the photo below.
The space is owned by Rockrose.
The shop will serve handcrafted artisanal ice cream, sorbets, and frozen yogurts. It first started at LIC Flea & Food four years ago.2
Ice & Vice opened its first brick-and-mortar opened June 5, 2015 on the Lower East Side at 221 East Broadway (East Broadway and Clinton), and its I SCREAM! Kiosk opened in Times Square at 43rd and Broadway on May 15, 2017. It has also appeared at Brooklyn Night Bazaar and Astoria Flea, while winning Vendy Award for Best Dessert in 2014.
