Hupo, a Szechuan restaurant, signed a lease and will be opening at 10-07 50th Avenue, Eric Mills from R New York who brokered the deal and represented the the landlord (Paramount Realty Inc.), told The Court Square Blog.
Signage appeared earlier in the week in front of the storefront, as seen in the photo below.
Hupo will feature traditional Szechuan fare, and feature a 1930s Shanghai-style (Cocktail) bar space. The restaurant is aiming to open by the end of summer.
It will take over the Kavala, which closed in 2018.1
