Yumpling, a Taiwanese food truck, will open its first brick and mortar location at 49-11 Vernon Boulevard, its owners wrote in an email to The Court Square Blog.
The restaurant is aiming for a soft open in either the fall or early wintertime.
Yumpling began in 2016 at the LIC Flea, and features award winning rice bowls, pan-fried dumplings and sandwiches. The menu will expand slightly for their Long Island City location, adding a beef noodle soup.

It will take over for Desi-Bowl, which closed earlier in the year.
