Pop up ‘Ice & Vice’ to leave 27-20 Jackson Avenue on Oct. 30

‘Ice & Vice,’ an ice cream pop-up shop which is currently open at 27-20 Jackson Avenue, will close for the season on Oct. 30.

“Long Island City, savor the last moments of summer!” the company wrote in an email. “We’ll be closing for the season October 30th, so don’t miss out.”

The pop-up opened back in April,1 and has been serving customers throughout the summer. It is the company’s second run the space, which is owned by Rockrose.

Last year, Ice and Vice was replaced by Brooklyn-based Daly Pie. But no replacement has been lined up for the space so far.

The ice cream shop, which serves handcrafted artisanal ice cream, sorbets, and frozen yogurts first started at LIC Flea & Food four years ago.2

Ice & Vice opened its first brick-and-mortar opened June 5, 2015 on the Lower East Side at 221 East Broadway (East Broadway and Clinton), and its I SCREAM! Kiosk opened in Times Square at 43rd and Broadway on May 15, 2017. It has also appeared at Brooklyn Night Bazaar and Astoria Flea, while winning Vendy Award for Best Dessert in 2014.
