Rendering appears at 23-20 Jackson Avenue as work begins

A rendering has appeared and work has started at 23-20 Jackson Avenue, the future home of a nine-story mixed-use building spanning nearly 83,000 square feet.

We stopped by recently and saw that excavation is underway on the project, which has an anticipated completion date of March, 2021. Demolition completed at the former home of Prime Time Transportation in August.1

Permits have been filed for a nine-story, mixed-use commercial building at 23-20 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. The new structure will dedicate 65,000 square feet of newly built space toward residential units, a hotel, and dormitory spaces. The entire building itself is set to yield 82,851 square feet.
