In December, 2018, we reported that Kitchen Plus More was opening a new store at 43-25 Hunter Street.
Signage has been up for nearly a year now, with little activity inside.
That changed back in September, when a construction permit was filed and approved with the DOB calling for “KITCHEN PLUS MORE; INTERIOR ALTERATION INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF DISPLAY FIXTURES, LIGHTING, MECHANICAL, MOP SINK, DRINKING FOUNTAIN, AND INTERIOR FINISHES.” 1
Construction work is now officially underway based on that permit.
Kitchen Plus More has been a staple in the waterfront district, with a location open at 7-17 5th Street. Here’s more about the store from its website:
