Mediterranean restaurant Mina’s opened inside MoMA PS1 at 22-25 Jackson Avenue on Thursday.1
The restaurant will be run by Mina Stone and artist Alex Eagleton, and will be open Thursday through Monday from 12–6 p.m. It replaces M. Wells Dinette, which had opened in the space in 2012 and closed earlier in 2019.2
“Our new all-day museum café from chef Mina Stone, author of Cooking for Artists, is here!” MoMA PS1 said in a release. “A trip to the galleries isn’t complete without a taste of Stone’s Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, offering everything from light bites to a full meal.”
Mina’s will also serving coffee, Greek natural wines, craft beers from Paros, and cocktails with Greek spirits.
The menu will change frequently to feature seasonally available ingredients.
Stone is best known for her 2015 book Cooking for Artists, designed by artist Urs Fischer and featuring more than 70 of Stone’s family-style recipes.
The restaurant arrival was announced in February.3
