London-based Four Winters, an ice cream shop, has closed at 47-38 Vernon Boulevard and is now available for rent, Eric Mills from R New York told The Court Square Blog.
Signage appeared in front of the store on Saturday stating that “all Four Winters locations are closing,” and that the “landlord has been given back the space,” as seen in the photo below.
Four Winters is an international chain, with multiple locations in London, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Los Angeles. The company came to prominence by creating ice cream from -196 degree liquid nitrogen.
The Long Island City location opened in early August.1
