Safe, In-Studio Classes Available for Kids at Pure Performing Arts

As NYC parents continue to navigate the challenging and changing landscape of schooling in the time of COVID19, there is a new option for Long Island City parents, to add to the mix.

Pure Performing Arts (PPA) was established in 2017, but just recently secured in a physical studio space. Owner and LIC resident, Jenny Liu, wants to provide a much needed in-person option for children, to supplement their remote or blended academic courses this fall.

With extensive safety protocols in place (read their full policies here), the studio is a light filled, safe, and inspiring space for children to develop socially and creatively.

Enrollment for small group and one on one instruction in ballet, yoga, music, and more, is open. Learn more on the PPA website. They are also hosting a Kids Art Exhibit and welcome entries from artists entering grades K-12 ( regardless of studio enrollment). To submit art, contact PPAstudioLIC@gmail.com and for full entry details, see contest guidelines.
