We’ve known for a long while but people are still waking up to, Queens is cool. Always was, always will be. We just have more proof now. Enticing signs adorn the storefront next to MOMA PS1 on Jackson Ave. The company’s logo is much smaller than their the attention grabbing green lettering that states: QUEENS GETS THE MONEY.
This shop will be new to our neighborhood, but Extra Butter has history. They formed in 2007 and have a shop on the Lower East Side. Their story and mission, according to their website: “Created by friends who shared a love for New York, Sneakers, Street Culture and Cinema. Our mission is simple; to engage, empower and inspire our community and followers from all over the globe.”
We are so excited for this shop to open and think they picked the perfect spot near MOMA PS1. We look forward to some socially distanced shopping very soon. Stay tuned for more info as details come in.

Excited. Extra Butter is my favorite NYC boutique. The staff is super chill and easygoing. Not like some of the other “uber-cool” boutiques in Soho and Downtown NYC.
